Review of 2012 :
Yesterday, after reading the reviews of the movie online I felt no desire to watch this movie. But you know friends, they dragged me to watch the movie. At the movie theater there was so much crowd awaiting for the show to start. Looking at so many people gave me some hope that this movie would not be as bad as I read about it in the reviews.
The movie starts with a scene in India where an astrophysicist discovers some event that occurred on the sun has been affecting the earth to shift its core. The initial reaction was thrilling because of the phenomenon was related to my favorite subject in school. Then starts this story about John Cusack and his family which I felt was slowing the pace of the movie and boring. The special effects that everyone was talking about is all that I enjoyed in the movie. Other than that the movie was fairly predictable, which added a comic genre to the movie.
To sum up only watch it for the special effects that's all. Oh I forgot to mention the length of the movie is 2.5 hours.
